Rasulullah Muhammad Saw Breaks Shawwal's Assumption As A Damn Month

ISL4M.COM, TANJUNG ENIM - The ignorant Arabs believe in Shawwal is a bad month. Therefore, they tend to avoid marrying their children in that month.

The Deputy Secretary General of the PBNU, KH Masduki Baidlowi, expressed such trust not only in the ignorant Arab community, but also in Indonesia.

Fasting or Fasting of Shawwal, Which Is Prioritized?

In the beginning, marriage between two feast days id (Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha) was considered pamali.

On those dates it was considered a time of squeeze.

Therefore, many believe that if married, their sustenance is tight and narrow.

"That's not true, because Shawwal was a very good month," Masduki told Isl4m.com on Monday (6/24).

In addition, many female camels do not want to mate on these dates.

It was also believed by the ignorant Arabs as a bad sign of marrying Shawwal.

To break it, said Masduki, the Prophet Muhammad married the wife he loved the most to Shawwal.

Rasulullah SAW did carry out the main task of perfecting human morals.

Therefore, things that have morality are good, and do not conflict with the teachings of Islam, then it is left alone.

He said many Arab traditions that did not conflict with Islam were eventually adopted as religious teachings.

Against things that are contrary to Islam, Allah Almighty removes through the Prophet Muhammad, one of them, namely superstition married to Shawwal.

"A very good month to marry anyone.

So that is very good, after holding back the passions for a month, there is a sunnah fast six days after Ramadan, so that the sunnah performs a marriage, "Masduki said.
